Working as Junior Research Fellow, GSBTM sponsered project "Application of DNA barcoding for quantification of adulteration in Ashokaristha for practical implication". In this project, we are developing method for identification of adulteration from herbal formulation. We are trying to develop cost effective assay for herbal industry.

Worked on biosimilar monoclonal antibody, worked in departments like Analytical Department, Biocharecterization department and Upstreem Process department. Apart from this I got exposure to QA and Regulatory department. Earned good hands on skills and management skills.

During six month dissertation work under Prof.Nilanjan Roy, We had developed integrated database "RagiBase". This database contains curated proteomics and genomic data of fingermilet and developed GUI for it.

I had successfully completed M.Sc industrial biotechnology with first class grade. I had also enjoyed co-curricular activity during 5.5 years.I learned large range of life sustaining skills. M.Sc. (Integrated) Biotechnology course covers 11 semesters. The first Six Semesters are common for all the students. Specialization starts from 7th Semester into four major disciplines. 1.General Biotechnology(GBT) 2.Industrial Biotechnology(IBT) 3.Environmental Biotechnology(EBT) 4.Medical Biotechnology(MBT). T he last (11th) Semester is devoted for Research Projects / Dissertations related to the specialized fields of Biotechnology.
